This year’s Palm Springs Food and Wine Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11 and 12, at the Palm Springs Stadium Pavilion and will feature 40 acclaimed restaurants, 80 boutique wineries, tastings, sippings, pairings, live music and celebrity chef demonstrations.

The event will raise money for the Fellows Program of the Culinary Institute of America, Les Dames D’Escoffier and DAP Health.

The weekend’s special guest emcee will be Emmy Award-winner Liam Mayclem, known to Bay Area fans as “The Foodie Chap,” along with locals Patrick Evans, Bianca Rae, Peter Daut, Sandie Newton, Nona Watson and Steven Henke, who will guide the demonstrations.

Attendees will engage with celebrity chef demonstrations while expert panels will be led by Shelley Lindgren, founder of San Francisco’s acclaimed restaurant A16, award winning sommelier Katie Finn of the Desert Wine Shop, and astronaut-turned-vintner José M. Hernández.

Celebrity chefs will include Martin Yan, Susan Feniger, Tanya Holland, Michael Chung, Andre Carthen and Joe Sasto.

“Participating in the Palm Springs Food & Wine Festival is an honor,” says Sasto. “I look forward to sharing my passion for food with festivalgoers.”

Celebrity chef Andre Carthen will be featured at the Palm Springs Food and Wine Festival, Nov. 11-12, 2023.
